OVERVIEW
People don't spend time thinking about energy or where it comes from. In fact, studies show that the average consumer ponders about it for around three minutes per year. Hardly enough given that how we produce and use energy is critical in fighting climate change.
In 2020, E.ON UK was under pressure from competition and regulation. They saw the opportunity to transform their UK subsidiary, npower, into a new brand.
We helped create E.ON Next, an optimistic, digital-first challenger brand with a cast of colorful characters. Next invites consumers to help create a more sustainable future. Through simple language and a more human user experience, the new brand puts cleaner, greener, feel-good energy at everyone’s fingertips.
